This may sound silly, but do you have to buy a certain game system to play this game? If so, which one(s)? Are there different versions of the game and what do you absolutely have to buy in order to play?

the best version is on the PS2! And all you really need to play is the game and a dance pad! there are some better dance pads out there, the one that came with my game was sliding all over the place while playing! So i would buy the game and the pad separate because there's a better pad with slip resistant padding underneath! good luck!

DDR is on Xbox PS2 and Gamcecube the Gamecube one is a Mario themed one. You can play with the the controller but it's not as fun as using the dance pad.

My son and his friends all have this game for PlayStation and X-box.
They tell me PlayStation is better.
