What is a way to get discovered without an agent?
When you don't have money and live in Minnesota. I really need information. I am only eleven and I cant really get out some where else. I know acting isn't the only thing in the world but I love it and I want to be discovered

You don't necessarily need a personal agent. I got with a good casting group and got my first part last week. Don't look in the classifieds, heard they are looking only for your money and not to make you do honest jobs. Try to find a good place in a similar industry who could give you the right addresses in your part of the world.

Waiting to be discovered can be a very painful, frustrating trap because you can't do anything about it; you can't make anyone with power see you. I think the better choice is to just do the work, just act. Enjoy what you can do now. Opportunities will come up and you'll decide whether to follow them or not. Sometimes things will turn out great, sometimes they won't. But through it all, stay focused on the things in your life that you can control, otherwise you're letting your life be designed by others.

Join the drama club or your local community theater. You will get acting experience (as well as makeup, hair, customes, lighting and more) so that you have something to list on future resumes.

Plus the theater companies are often the first to hear about the real auditions, etc. The producers are looking for experienced people, so they informed the experienced people first.

I have watch more than one member of your local theater go on to full time acting acting careers.
