why do you answer/ask questions on Y! answers?
I do it because i am bored out of my mind

I am definitely not bored out of my mind. I am actually studying for my Masters degree in Psychology and Special Needs, and I just enjoy learning new things and trying to help people out. I find that this forum is a fun way to relax after I've been working or studying for hours. I can just use a bit of life experience and help a few people, as will as learn something new almost every time I am on here. Some things I don't really want to know...but it definitely shows the wide amount of diversity there is in the world. I'm sorry you are bored, I don't have enough hours in my day to be bored. Sometimes boredom. But I like answering questions. I feel good when someone picks my answer as the best one, and not for the points. Who knows what they're for anyway. I enjoy seeing all the different answers people come up with.
It makes the world seem a bit smaller. This forum allows me to say what I want, in a humorous, angry, serious, or sarcastic manner, without being edited.
It is relaxing entertainment after the daily crap a person has to deal with.
And I can't play Texas Hold 'Em on Pokerchamps anymore.

something to do, and in hopes of learning something.
Of course for the fun of it. It takes all kinds, but truthfully I thought the whole thing would be more interesting then it is. Too many people are wasting what could have been much better.

i think it's kinda neat. some of the questions and answers are kinda lame but a lot of them are good and who knows maybe i'll find and make some new friends here too.
