First off, it'd definitely be The Academy Is... everyone else I listen to are just beginning so they don't have "buses" ... they're still in vans ;)

Secondly ... theorotically speaking, these girls will probably never have the chance to go on their bus OR travel with the band, so it was just a question. No need to get all harsh about it. Not every guy in a band is out there to get a piece of meat, and treat the girl like she's trash, and some who are sincere and you've talked to on more then one occassion WILL remember who you are. Trust me, I've met a lot of famous people in my lifetime and not every one of them were solely the same. I've partied with the Veronicas and Ryan Cabrera. They don't let just any ole person or fan on their bus and have parties and have wild one night stands every night they are on tour. And seriously, you're the FIRST person I've ever heard state they'd never do anything with their favorite band member, because it would be a once in a lifetime thing and by this I'm not saying to go travel with them on their bus, I'm just stating if they wanted to go to a club or have a one on one "date" after a show. Maybe you're mind is telling you you wouldn't but I have a feeling if you were some place with {insert who you're swooning over here} all by yourself, you'd do SOMETHING, even if it were just a peck on the cheek. I won't say some of your facts aren't correct, because with some of the more popular bands, they are out just to get with a girl and see what the girl will do to them, so don't think I'm totally against everything that you've typed. And I'm not trying to argue here because I don't want to get banned from these answers.

They would only use you until they got tired of you then probably leave you stranded on the side of the road, do you think any of those jerks would want to romance and marry you. Pullleeezzee do not even tell us that you believe you would want to be alone with most of the jerks that do the tour bus thing! Are you hung in a time warp hoping to hook up with the Partridge Family and some nice family group that wouldn't just use you and throw you away at the first truck stop dumpster that they passed?

I do not know how old you are, but it doesn't sound like you would hesitate to get into a tour bus full of "strangers". I think every toddler and pre-school aged child should be taught about "STRANGER DANGER"...Maybe that's something that should be taught again when young people are 10 to 16 years old!

Look, if you want to meet stars or celebrities, that's one thing. I would not be so quick to jump into a vehicle with anyone that I didn't know, and (though I am younger than my picture indicates), I can tell you I am plenty old enough that I KNOW what I am talking about. Men will use you and toss you out like they do not even know you; and in some cases they may not even remember your name!

I know I won't get the most popular answer on this one, and I do not even care. I think it's worth the words to say this. The MEN in those tour buses are men, and some of them are skanky drug addict losers who happen to have some fly by night popularity. They all like a young girl as long as she does what they want to do. Most men are like that...and if their wives or their real girlfriends should happen to CATCH you in their tour bus they would call you a whore quicker then their women will, and their women will call you a whore, and so will the rest of the world. Even if you are a child, people will say she asked for it because if you don't, YOU SHOULD, know better than to load up in a tour bus or a van or even a car with a stranger!

I guess we all know what you are using to channel your thoughts these days. If I made you think before you sacrifice yourself to a bus load of losers, then I don't think I just wasted my time, but if you wind up a used knocked up by "who knows who" diseased groupie, you can't say you were not warned. Here's a hint to let you know when things start going real wrong, after the band is finished with you they pass you on to the guy that runs the sound and lights, and the roadies that carry their equipment in for them. The next stop, they will wait until you go in and drive away and leave you...No, this has never happened to me, but it did happen to 2 girls that I grew up with. When the band put them off of the tour bus, they were 200 or more miles from home. The girls had to call their parents to come and get them, one of them got syphilis from her adventure, so I do know someone who was stupid enough to be "band meat" for a brief tour on a the band’s bus. We all went to the concert together, we were all there for an autograph when they asked us to go I did not go, and I have always been so glad!
