I always say what I think, regardless of how other people may perceive it. I really don't give a flying f*ck what people will think of me.
The labelling theory of Becker's, however, usually goes in the other direction: labelling creates a self-fulfilling prophecy and you fall into the trap of becoming what others label you as. I don't really believe in labelling theory and self-fulfilling prohecies though.

It is a discerning situation that we find ourselves in these day, political correctness, one can not say many things that they could years ago even if they shouldn't. But the fact is that we cannot with out fear of being label something, and some labels never leave you once attached. ie. anti Semite, racist, bigot. these are labels that can ruin ones position at work, social and actually person.
So yes, in a way if I was to say something or write about a particual situation that I need to use some colorful words to get across the point, I would certainly think twice about them.

No. half the time the label doesn't even adequately reflect the reality. Labels tend to be very general, and our overuse of these labels are making them more and more impotent.

I did at one time, but I realized that no matter what I did I got labeled something, so I don't care and I just do what I believe is right.

I hate blue people, and I'm not ashamed to say it. People will label be a racist, but I'm not afraid. But I won't say it to peoples faces, though, I don't want them thinking I'm a bigot or anything like that.

not me, as i believe myself to be true to my own convictions i could care less what others think of me. I do not support hate or intolerance of any kind. when people call me atheist freak because my beliefs are contrary to theirs then i feel sorry that they cannot accept that i am different and will not be swayed by another.

No. Be true to yourself and speak your mind. Just make sure you can back up your beliefs with hard facts.
