I was rich at one time and was very unhappy. Now I am poor and really have nothing, I am a lot happy now. I would rather be this way and be happy. Money does not buy love!!!!!!!

I would take happiness over money any day. There is no way that I would want to be unhappy, and be rich. Just because you rich, does not make you happy. happiness comes from inside, and even money can't buy what is on the inside. I would take love over money as well, a guy that would treat me right, and love me, and be faithful is worth all the money in the world. I would live in a tent out in the middle of no where and love it just to be with my man, and be happy with him.

If you are basing this on a survey you took from here, I think you are being misled. National studies have shown that the majority of women would choose happiness over money. I'm one of those women. Prior to us having children, my husband and I both worked and did very well for ourselves. Once the children started coming, I quit working to care for them and we just lived off his income. We weren't dirt poor, but we had our hard times, we struggled week to week at one point, but it actually brought us closer together. Our youngest will be in kindergarten this year and I'd have the time to get back into the workforce, but to my surprise, I've opted not to. Things work better with me home, everyone is happier. Sure our vacations are limited to once a year and no longer include flights, but you can't replace the love our family has with any amount of fortune.

Both stations in life have their own problems dear. Being rich doesnt mean happiness in love if that's what you mean. Being poor is not a good way to live either and can cause it's own grief if you're unable to support yourselves. Living a simple life or having some wealth...uno it's really being with a lovable partner is what makes a person happy.

I would choose happiness any day over being rich. I'm poor and happy now and if I gave that up life would be dull and boring.

being stable now a days is such a big thing, even Men are looking for women that are working or financially stable, it's much more problem if your're thinking how happy can you be than being poor, who wants to be poor? yeah you're happy but can you eat happiness, can you put that on your table and say it's ok to starve but we're happy anyways?

not all women are like that, my wife had a major choice a few years back on going out with a rich jerk from high school, who wanted to get married so he'd inherate his fathers company, and without getting a prenuptual. or going out with me, a poor kid, working to help pay my families bills, comming from a simple poor family.
she picked me cause i made her laugh, not all women follow money, the good ones follow their hearts

It is not true that poors are happy. HAPPYNESS IS THE ATTITUDE TOWARDS LIFE. If a person have good attitude towards life then he or she can be happy whether they are RICH or POOR
