how does one become an, "expert", on show's no better than, "in search of", on the history channel?

i'm as good a crank as the next (these are my esoteric desciplines, alice, if you're reading, among others), if not significantly better, i'm charismatic (really - anyone'll tell ye), and not unattractive, in that particularly apt scholar-of-the occult (and i stress, 'scholar") way. i should've jumped on the band wagon the second the first review of the heinous, "code", was released, but this stuff never really goes away. bah. i could always write a book, but an acquaintance, from uni, was on the history channel's, "barbarians", series, and he speaks with a fake english accent, so i've an axe to grind with 'im (OTOH, he has a doctorate in classics, and i, well... long nights in dark and bolted-on-the-inside libraries are not conducive to the standard grading advancement paradigm). i may WRITE with a fake english accent, but i stopped talking with one, in third grade (the man has a wife - who knows he's from NEW JERSEY - that accepts this tomfoolery!). well, there it is.

you have to "know" people
