Technically, there is not much difference. A stripper basically works in less classy places, is paid a lot less money and may be prostituting herself as well. An exotic dancer will work in more exclusive, possibly private; clubs and will generally just dance and strip but will not be doing anything else. The exotic dancer will also be paid more money. Horny idiots would be my thoughts also, but I am a woman...so I probably don't get a vote. Have a good night!

No my dear, there is a big difference between an exotic dancer and a stripper.
You can easily understand with a example. Exotic Dancer is like a wife who understand what and why she is doing. While a stripper is like a whore who does it for money only.

Exotic dancers have a savvier stage persona/performance. Strippers are a dime a dozen and found in nearly every popular college-town dive.
Word to rich college boys: Do NOT date or take home a stripper!!! Look how well that worked for those Duke college frat boys!!!

an exotic dancer can have sex w/ you w/ her eyes and make you feel good; a stripper just started at the club and is easily available.
both do the same job, just exotic dancers are the veterens to the trade so they know all the tricks.

exotic dancer just sound better than stripper.
I think one also lap dances....the other doesn't.
I don't know.............................I have never seen one or the other....I just know that strippers get really ticked if you call them strippers and not exotic dancers, after all it is an ART and one should appreciate the artistic ability and honor it as such.
