I don't want to use poisons because we have a baby, dog, and cats. I'm so tired of the ants. I wipe them up but they always come back. They go after everything and they get into the animals food bowls. Sometimes they even come after me because of how messy breastmilk can be. I hate them and I want them gone. Any suggstions? Please.

That is why I like the jel in a syring, It is poison, but you shoot it in small cracks and holes where the animals can't get to it and they take it back to the nest.

Here is a tip I just received about a week ago. I have not tried it but it supposedly works miracles. Try sprinkling Aspartame, the artificial sweetener in NutraSweet and Equal around where ever the ants are either inside the house or outside. You may have to lightly sprinkle the area outside with water and for small black ants you may have to mix with some apple juice. Reportedly, Aspartame was originally developed as an ant poison. It supposedly works on all species of ants including Fire Ants and fast too! Good Luck!

all the above, and pick up the food bowls after each meal, don't leave them down all day. The key thing is to find where they come in and deal with that.

To stop ants you need to seal off where they are entering with putty or petroleum jelly;also sprinkle red pepper on flouurs and counter tops.
