my four mouth old doesnt really go for it anymore unless im nearby on the couch

Mine was the same way. he's 5 1/2 months old. About a month ago i gave him a blanket. He thought that was the greatest. Now he occupies himself in his swing with the blanket. Pulls it over his face, pushes it up and down, stuff like that.

That's sad mine only gave it up when he grew out of it at almost 2. His feet dragged on the floor and he went through 2 motors. But I'd have never got anything done without it. I think the trick is to take them out of it when they fall asleep so they don't get tired of sitting up. That way they don't accociate it with being sore. Who likes sleeping sitting up anyways.

My daughter is 4 months old and she loves it. I think it just depends on the baby.

my son gave it up when he got too big for it. I remember it was his safe haven! ha ha, All we had to do to get him off to sleep was crank that swing up and then turn on the vacuum, *yes the vacuum* :-)

MY DAUGHTER'S IS 4 AND 2 AND NO THEY NVER LIKED THE SWING.
