yes ! chimps are not pets but animals that should be respected and left to live naturally. they should not be captured forcefully from there mothers and tortured to be tourist playthings. Anyone with a chimp should do the responsible thing and hand it over to a chimp rescue centre so it can be cared for properly and live with other chimps

To some people it is weird to have a chimp for a pet, for others, it isnt

Not weird but also not right. They don't belong in a human environment. What if the boot was on the other foot and you suddenly were taken away from your family and plonked amongst a load of chimps????

Yes. Chimps can be dangerous. Adult chimps tend to be stronger than adult humans. Are you sure you want to be submissive to a pet?

Yes, and it's unfair to the chimp.
They are extremely social creatures, and need to be around many other chimps.

Not really. Chimps are beautiful, intellegant creatures, but you have to treat it and care for it properly as their species are slowly degrading.
