Why choose? You can do both! With the use of Mass Media communications you can reach (sometimes very deep) into the minds of those with special needs. A great marriage of two great professions. I think you are onto a super match. Think of how much Sesame Street impacted children pf all ages. Another example of the perfect blend of mass communications and reaching a special needs population.

I think special education is the best course because you can help the young individuals to be productive and a useful citizen someday.To be a teacher is a heroic deeds.

w. SPEC. ED, you can SPECIALIZE your studies to help [a core group] of folks who really need your assistance.
Your core decision will be moulded by your vocation after graduation and your choices at that point.
