My brother is turning 15 friday, Saturday im having the girl that he likes come over to hangout and celebrate his birhtday. it is going to be a surprise though, when he gets home from football practice she will be there. My two questions are:
1- My mom said i have to clean the house before Saturday, what are the things required to do to clean the house, sorry if its a dumb question. I know vacumn and dust, what else?
2- What are some ideas of what we could do while she is over?

Sweep and wash floors, clean bathroom (sinks, toilet, tub, counters), clean kitchen (counters, stove,floor).
Play an old school board game...cheesy, but fun.

Kristen, you've got to be kidding. You clean a house by....cleaning the house. Yes, you vacuum and dust, sweep and mop, straighten cushions, make the beds, pick things up, throw everything into closets. There's nothing to it. Put on some music and have a ball while you're cleaning.
You're a good sister for doing this for your brother, too. It's been a long time since I was 15, but we listened to records, watched TV, played Monopoly or Twister. Today, you've got DVD's and video games. Hope you have fun.

clean the bathrooms, tubs sinks, toilets..
windows, sweep and mop
put all of the bathroom stuff away like mouthwash etc..make sure all surfaces are clear.. take up the mats too.
I went to a wedding reception in a huge mansion, and not only did they not clean the bathrooms, there were wet towels on the floor, wet bathing suits in the tub,, make up toothpaste in the sink, personal items everywhere. It was very weird.. the rest of the house was immaculate.. you would figure with 200 guests, they would make the bathrooms guest friendly.

1. I'd say vaccum and ask your mom what she means by cleaning the house and then doing what she says she wants you to do.
2. You could do some fun stuff with foods --a make your own pizza night --you can get premade crusts, sauce (and cheese and pepperoni and vegetables and canned pre-sliced olives and whatever you like. . . ).
And a sundae thing --like vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, nuts, marichino cherries, ect.
You could do a fondue thing --or make nachos (chips, cheese, sour cream, refried beans, onions, etc.)

1.make sure the bathroom is clean & that there are no dirty clothes or anything like that laying around.
2.some things to do: listen to music, surf the web, eat, watch movies
