I am going to Cedar Point Park, Sandusky, OH few hours later. I am just wondering, what are the most thrilly ones there? and which are " must play" rides?

Definately Millenium Force and Top Thrill Dragster.

The Magnum is OK, but really bumpy. My kids still love it, but my wife and I can't handle it because it hurts our back and gives us a headache. The Mean Streak is even worse for bumps!

Raptor, Mantis (the stand up coaster), and Wicked Twister are a must. I personally didn't like Skyhawk, but most really do. Also MaxAir is really cool. You really should ride Power Tower (both directions up and down).

Cork Screw and Gemini are OK and the lines are always really short. Gemini is mostly smooth (for a wooden coaster), but Cork Screw is kinda bumpy.

If you're looking for thrills, stay away from Iron Dragon, wildcat, Mine Ride, Blue Streak and Disaster Transport. Those are really just coasters for kids.

Have fun

Here's what I've found the best strategy to attack Cedar Point.

First ride is the Blue Streak. It's the closest ride to the entrence and is a classic. A good warm up ride.

Then you procede to the Raptor, be ready for a medium wait, but it's totally worth it.

Then to the center of the park to the main event. The Top Thrill Dragster. If nothing else ride this.

Lastly you start the holy trinity of thrilly rides. Magnum, Mean Streak and Millenium Force. You adrenaline will be pumping like crazy after these three rides.

That's the way I do it. Going in that order will give you the lowest wait times and you'll hit all the big rides. Oh yeah try and hit up Wicked Twister and the Mantis before you leave.

1. Millennium Force
Millennium Force is must ride roller coaster if you are coming to Cedar Point. It was recently ranked the #1 steel roller coaster in the world again. It is designed near perfect in my opinion. It takes you up the hill with a cable lift, not a chain, which means you make it 310 feet in the air in a very short time. I love how smooth it is, and when you are standing in line, the roller coaster bends right around you in line. You Gotta Love It!

2. Top Thrill Dragster
The most thrilling ride in the park, it may be a short 15 seconds, but wow. As you stand in line you watch people being launched up the hill then come to a stop at the, laughing and cheer, you get fired up to get on that train and ride it yourself. If its open and running good, this is a ride worth its wait.

3. Raptor
Raptor is my favorite hanging roller coaster i have ever riden on. It has several inversions and an awsome hill, it is defenetly a must ride coaster. But here's some advice with it, because it is in the front of the park it tends to have a one hour to an hour and a half wait, if you wait untill the late after noon or evening the line will be alot shorter

Other rides you should try to get to are Wicked Twister, Mantis, Maxair, Skyhawk, Magnum, Gemini & Mean Streak.

Enjoy Your Trip!

there are many, 14 going on 15 coasters to be exact. Millenium Force is a giga, same with Top Thrill dragter, Mantis is a stand up, Raptor is a foot Suspended same with Wicked twister, Iron Dragon is a car suspended, Blue and Mean streak are 2 different wooden coasters and there are other great ones, like Disaster Transport. All good coasters, Maxair is a great thrill ride but i dont know of any others, when i went i just went on all of the coasters. Have Fun!

You've gotta ride Millennium Force, its the best ride in the world and then Top Thrill Dragster, Raptor, Mantis, Magnum and Wicked Twister, and then you should ride all the others, but you cant go to cedar point without riding those ones

The lines are not that long. We went on a Saturday & the longest line we stood in was for Skyhawk & it was about a 30 min. wait time.

All the rides are good. Wicked Twister is awesome & Skyhawk is really fun.

I agree with Yada Yada Yada but the lines for those are really long. I waited about an hour to an hour and half for each ride.

oh, man. haven't been there in years. I will say this: the lines are like disneyland....HUGE. Bring lots of sunblock and something to do in line while you wait. One thing in your favor though it is a weekday, so it may not be quite as bad as it could be.

I remember one of the most popular rides was the one you go up, and it drops straight down...I forget the name of it though...very fun!!
