i dont think so (though i am a female). its hard to change conservative view in malaysia (compared with indonesia and philippines). u can find female ministers and organisational iron women but i bet u, u'l never find female prime minister in the future. have u ever seen any female that outshine males minister in malaysia? (besides rafidah and sharizat?) malaysia gives quite a cry for women movement, but i doubt that they will really allowed female take the lead. this is a male dominated world. how many countries that u know that flourish while the female takes the lead? megawati sukarnoputri? gloria macapagal arroyo? cat find mega and glory there, u see. i may seem quite sceptical here, but the real world is still a real world. we women may not be able to rule a country, let alone the world, but we still rule where the family and husbands concerns. no? ^__^

No, but who do you have in mind? Ther's already so many male Minister jockeying for that post. Mind you, Rafidah Aziz is already a Minister of International Trade and Industry. That's a huge portfolio.

I don't see any Malaysian male minister can measure up to her position.

These things take time, even for the United States.

oh yeah...Malaysia is a monarchy following a British parlimentary system, so, no Presidency.

Probably, if an able candidate presents herself.
There have been other female Presidents or Prime Ministers in Asian Muslim countries (Pakistan and Indonesia).

Nah. I think Malaysia is too conservative that way to ever appoint a female PM.
