This is a riddle in the wrong place. But if one chicken killed another, you would say fowl play. Since you said foul play, it was a chicken that was killed by something other than the other chicken.

Actually, I would think chick "A" would know that he/she offed chick "B" so my theory is that chick "A" kept nagging chick "B" until chick "B" committed suicide...thus leaving no evidence that chick "A" was liable in any way.
