Is that a severe question. Shaq has been injured 0.5 the season and Yao is an MVP canidate! Yao Ming is averaging 27 PPG, 9.8 RPG, and a couple of.3 BPG. a contemporary editorial from the Washington cases dubbed him the suitable center in the NBA in the present day. Shaq so some distance has been averaging 14 PPG, 7.5 RPG, a million BPG. DO the mathematics. Yao is the main feared participant actual now and is a great benefit on fantasy communities. so some distance Yao's accomplishments have been 4-time NBA All-celeb; 2-time All-NBA; third team: 2004, 2006; TSN NBA Rookie of the 12 months: 2003; NBA All-Rookie First team: 2003; NBA Western convention's participant of the Month: November 2006. This year's playoffs were very unpredictable with alot of excitement generated. Its hard to say who will win. I want to go with my hometown Pistons, and I think we have a shot, but there are so many good teams out there.

The Miami Heat are the defending champs. However, we havent had a repeat since the Lakers three-peat. I dont like the Heat, but they have talent to make another run.

The Pistons lost Ben Wallace. Big loss. However they were able to pick up Nazr Mohammed, Ronald Murray, and Ronald Dupree. Nazr will fill the hole at center, and while he is no Ben Wallace on defense, he is a better offensive player. Flip Murray off the bench is an excellent signing that will prove its worth its money. Murray will provide that long overdue spark off the bench the Pistons have been needing. Lindsey Hunter and Ronald Murray can provide relief for Billups/Hamilton. If Flip can rest his starters throughout the year, and use the bench more, we will have a chance during the playoffs to make a push for the title. The ultimate factor if the Pistons do good is going to be their ability to transition from laid back offense and rough and tough defense, to a more offensive oriented team.

The Spurs are getting old, but added some good talent in the offseason. They had a whole to fill at center with Nazr going to the Pistons and Rasho sent to the Raptors. They signed young guys Francisco Elson and Jackie Butler to compete for the center spot. If Parker can become an elite point guard this year and join the top of the class, the Spurs will be a serious contender.

The Mavs have turned from a high-scoring, no defense team into a high-scoring, rebounding, defensive team. They have the pieces to make another run for the title if they can play this way again. It all will rely on Dirk Nowitzki and his ability to play big, grab boards, and lead this team. They have the depth and talent to do it, but will the leaders step up and lead?

I think its going to be a close one this year. As far as the east, i'm going to predict the Pistons and the Heat in the semi's and for the west, its going to be Dallas and San Antonio. If Shaq stays healthy and Dwayne improves even more this summer, than I think they'll have a better chance at making a run at the Finals. With Dallas looses some players, Dirks going to have to get his team in a nice groove and most of that is going to have to come from leadership. I think San Antonio's going on the bus to the finals though. With picking up a couple of young players that can play the game, having almost the same lineup from last season with just as deep a bench, there could be another championship left for these guys.
