Your first kiss generally has nothing to do with who we are, or become.
I first remember kissing my dog as a kid, and had no desire to go to bed with him.
My first kiss when I was trying to convey desire is a different mater.
We were all told that gay people made the wrong choice in going after the same sex. Ask any so-called straight person when they made their choice. If they answer with a date or year, they’re lying. It's not about choosing it's now, and always was, about accepting. We all are who are what we are. We're nether right or wrong, just human beings trying to get thru life with someone we love, to support us when we fail, and who we can support when they fail. You do, or will know if you're gay in time. Guess what; the world will still be turning.
Every body has feelings in both realms but one becomes stronger and we realize part of who we are. It really is "all good."
If you find yourself in love with a woman; I wish you well, and if you find yourself with another guy; I still wish you well.
Its time for you to wish yourself well also, and just let life happen.
You are not at all week by not having all the answers. By being brave enough to ask the questions life gets simpler. One thing is for sure; we are not alone. There is nothing on a personal level anyone can do that someone hasn’t done before.
I had the questions also, and took a large chunk of my life trying to figure it all out as well. Then I realized that the questions are what life is all about.
If it all seems hard, it's not. Don’t worry; time will resolve a lot as well.
By the way, at least 6-7% of the population are presumed to be gay. That's a pretty big minority.
So ether way..Hang in there.

Sexuality doesn't go "two ways", as there is a large group of people who experience attraction to both genders - bisexuals. Not only is it more complicated than the "two model" approach, it can also be fluidic.
During my first 16 years of my life, it seemed I was gay. When I was 16, I experienced an overwhelming crush on a member of the opposite sex, and had two more that same year. Since then, I continue to alternate between genders.

You can't be what you are not, but you can be open to all possibilities. A kiss doesn't mean you're any which way. Always attracted to the same gender is a good indication. But, you're not going to really know until you meet someone who makes your heart pound and your knees weak, AND have a relationship or two. Life happens naturally. Let it simply unfold. See if there's a LGTB center in your area. Meet some people, talk, learn more, but leave all possibilities open until you have a little more life behind you.

Well, my first kiss was with someone of the same gender, but I'm not gay. You could be bisexual. If you have never felt any sort of sexual attraction towards the opposite sex [which is what it all comes down to], then you could possibly be gay.

You are just asking are you Gay because you have done something Gay, and don't like women, generally that means your so obviously you aint straight, but you already know that because you admit that you fancy men, or back then boys.
The thing is have ya ever tryed women, say everyone has a "gay phase", so maybe you never really gave women or girls back then a chance especially as your first experience was gay.
Maybe you have ended up Gay through a lack of women/girls, because of your experiences as a teen. At that age people are confussed, but ideas and feelings can become stuck in your mind because they are what you know.
Try some girls, and give them a real chance.

Ignore this wisdom you are spouting off. It is a well known fact that many girls practice kissing each other in early adolescence. But the vast majority of women are straight. With guys it is different. There are social pressures to keep us from practicing kissing on each other. Many guys try and fake being straight by going through the motions with females.
Give your self time and education. Read up on the subject. Visit a gay lesbian center.

When your in your youthful years staying over with a Friend same sex, usually you sleep together, and experiment with each other.
nothing wrong with that. If Mr right or Miss right come along you ll know if not don't worry. being Gay is not frowned on these days
It isn't wrong to love someone of the same sex as long as your happy
good luck

Personally, i wouldnt worry about it.
If you are gay or straight, it matters not. As you get older, you may become more attracted to women (but i doubt it), or you may develop stronger attractions to men.
Either way, you are what you are so you may as well sit back and enjoy it and worry about more important things like whose round is it next.
By the way, the thing about the kisses is rubbish. Alot of teens experiment. It means nothing.

Being gay or straight is not caused by your first kiss or any other such thing.
It's all a matter of personal preference, just like what ice cream flavors you prefer and which types of music make you turn it up.
To thine own self be true.
Despite popular opinion, there's nothing wrong with being gay.

Evan, what your parents told you is silly and untrue. If you are only attracted to the same sex, you are most likely gay. Maybe you should have a relationship with someone you like of the same sex and see if you are happy.
