There was an Englishman in the US team in 1930 and four Scottish players. They reached the semi finals. I too have since looked it up and it was George Moorhouse. From Liverpool he played for Tranmere Rovers. And there where in fact 5 layers from Scotland in the team. I think that will be the last time that any Scottish player will play in a World Cup semi final!

Some british players played in the 'United States' team that played in the first World Cup in 1930, but I couldn't name them.

Looked it up now (6 hours later) - George Moorhouse

LMAO - George - Are you related, or did you just do a search on your name?
