sometimes caffeine can cause diarrhea. and a lot of sugar can do that as well. regular sodas like Pepsi and Coke are loaded with both sugar and caffeine.

try a diet decaffinated soda. like a diet seven-up----seven-up has never had caffeine in it.

give it a shot---switching to a diet decaf soda may be just the ticket.

If you look on the side of the packaging, especially on diet sodas like Pepsi Max or Coke Zero you'll see something that says 'Contains Phenylalanines'. This is an artificial sweetener often found in diet sodas and sugarfree gum. Having to much of it can have a laxative effect on the body, so it can cause diarrhea in some rare cases. But you'd have to have a hell of a lot of soda for that to happen.

I am a Pepsi drinker my self and have been drinking Pepsi for at least 25 or more years now, and I put away at least a six pack a day and sometime more, sometimes less. I have yet to ever have a problem like that yet drinking it.

How much are you drinking ? Lots will cause everything bad. A little when diarrhoea has already begun is good to prevent dehydration, the caffeine and sugar give you a little energy also.
