my fish is small and is big as your thumb and is a girl, it is swishing hear hed from left to right repeating again and again why is my fish doing that. please help me

there are 3 fish 2 of the same kind and a pleco and it is not agressive

the pleco is a female and the swishing one is a girl and the other same fish is a male

It sound like a problem called shimying and is usually found in mollies that are in water with not enough salt. Mollies come from the Yucatan penisula of Mexico and live in esturine sytems where there is certain amount of salt, if they are placed in a soft water enviroment they start to shake thier bodies in a waving motion while not moving about as they would normally. the usual cure is to add asmall amount of salt to the water usually
1 teasponn or 5ml per gallon.
At this concentration this should not harm your plecostomus.

get some more of the same type & put them together, to check their behaviour, if all swish, then shes ok, isnt it

What type of fish is it? If it's an aggressive type perhaps other fish in the tank are upsetting it or its reflection is.
