Try not to over- do the brushing you could irritate your gums, makeing them red or bleed!!

This will make the teeth easily discolored. Brushing is important in overall tooth health, but dental cleanings at least twice a year and tooth whitening procedures may brighten your teeth a few shades.

Brushing your teeth a billion times a day wont make them whiter. It just helps to keep them from turning more yellowish.
You have to get teeth whitening either at home in those whitening strips or at the dentists office which can be pricey as some insurances don't cover it.

You should brush your teeth after every meal and prior to going to bed and waking in the am for good oral hygiene. If you have special dental problems such as braces etc, flossing is required in conjunction to the brushing. Additionally everyone should floss on a daily basis. Use of a mouthwash for periodontal infections is often recommended as well.
