Is it a snub to the other sex, like are they thinking that they'll hurt the other sex by rejecting them? Well, spose we can all understand that but what the heck do gays find physically attractive about the same sex? [almost lost the breakfast there, litterally]

i'm sure ppl dont become gay to piss of the other sex. It's want they want in life so they do what they want to be happy!! And i don't know what they find physically attractive about the same sex.....i guess what a straight man feels for a woman or a straight woman for a man.

This could have many answers, varying with the length of time they have been together and their circumstances. For myself I was looking for a friend. Gwenneth had similar interests, classical music and Gilbert and Sullivan, We began going out, occasionally sharing a good night kiss, these became rather more so we had a serious talk. 18 months after meeting we moved in together, bringing down on us the hatred of her family. We lived quietly and were content, suffering only the "in laws" whom Gwen treated with amazing serenity.
years later we were obliged to take long leave from work but could not take it together. Gwen told me to take mine as she was feeling tired. We planned my trip and I went. On return I found that my darling had passed away from a virulent cancer. Not only this but her family had claimed the body, buried it in their "Church's" private cemetary and inscribed UNKNOWN TO GOD on the stone. When I first went to visit her grave, a family member warned me to stay away. "You're Lesbian? No you're less than nothing" she said. I almost wish now that I HAD given her an open handed slap to both ears. I slowly lost control and after a time suffered a major affective disorder. Thanks to my brother's help I am recovering. This is what I [we] "got out of it".Would we do this again if given the chance? See the words of Trisha Yearwood's Song.
