Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider)
earthlink, attyahoo, aol, juno etc.
They will talk you thru it.
You will need the name of their POP3 Server, for incoming mail, and the SMTP Server for outgoing mail anyway.

Unless you are REQUIRED to use it for school or work, i would suggest using Mozilla Thunderbird instead... From mozilla.com

then read the help file within that

Go to your ISPs website, they will tell you what goes where in their support area.
