me and my husband started about a month ago. we have four kids and we always try to get them one really good present, something we wouldn't buy any other time during the year, so we started our layaway about a month ago.

For the kids in our family I shop all year. When I see something on sale that I know they have been wanting or something I know they would enjoy and didn't even know they wanted it, I get it, wrap it and hide it in the locked shed. As for the grown ups I usually enjoy getting the little Christmas goodies that's put out for the Holidays along with gift cards. So I start the adult shopping a day or so after Thanksgiving.

I'm one of those people who are done by August or September. I always look around and when I see something interesting I get it and put aside for possible guy/girl or any gender gift. Whe Christmas sales come in I shop for myself. If I am going to struggle through a crowd it better be something I want for myself. That doesn't take the joy out of the holidays.

I started about a week ago. I don't think it's ever to early to x-mas shop. If I'm at a store and see something on sale or something unique I think would make a good gift I buy it.

I buy little things year round and save up for big things at the same time... that way I only have to buy one or two bigger gifts once the holiday's approach. I usually buy the big items just before or after Thanksgiving so I can catch a good sale...

I shop for the Holidays when ever I see something that I know that the person on my list would really like. It does not matter what day it is, or month, or hour.

I like to start as soon as possible after the new year. Whenever I find a bargin and or sales I go shopping. Doing it like that I can buy several items for everybody.

I frequently get a prior due initiate and rush via it. This 365 days i would be in Germany for the 1st 2 weeks of December. i began out my paying for final month and that i'm very practically finished! It feels rather sturdy understanding that i would be baking, adorning and vacationing, the two weeks earlier Christmas, no longer paying for!
