YES, it bleeds A LOT. As it turns out, the nipples have tons of capilaries which are tiny blood vessles. The engorge with blood which is why they get red and hard when excited... don't do it.

Hell yea it would bleed, then it would scab over and eventually heal but you would have a deformed nipple...

Yeah, it would definitely bleed.
Then it would heal, but you wouldn't grow another nipple! You would be nipple-less!
