Since I am a huge Sir Paul McCartney fan I will pick from his solo years because the with the Beatles there are too many- from Macca's post-Beatles work:
Saddest-- Here Today- (Tug of war) his personal tribute to his friend and former bandmate John Lennon after his death.
Love Song-- Maybe I'm Amazed (McCartney)-- no silly love song here-- this song is right from the heart and a great classic as well!
Rock Song-- Too Many People (Ram)-- this has been one of my all time favorites rock tunes for many years! I was even more surprisingly thrilled to see him perform this early McCartney solo piece when I saw him in concert last year! It really rocks and to me was the highlight of the concert to hear it performed by him live!! Yeah yeah yeah!!!

1-Saddest: That Sarah McLaughlin song, (sorry forgot the name).
2-Love song: "Shining Star" by the Manhattans.
3-Best Rock Song: "Have you Ever Seen the Rain" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. This is actually my favorite song of ALL TIME. I listen to them, and embarress my friends while driving, because they have been conditioned to believe that since we are black we can only listen to black music. Sad!

1. I don't know....but maybe the one by John Denver about the Lady who had cancer )it goes like "Lady...are you crying..." it is a really pretty song but it's sad. I can't remember the title.
2. Definately "My heart will go on" from the titanic. It is such a beautiful song!
