Yeah I get like that too. You need to get into what you are studying and try to envision it. For example, if you are studying History... let's say the Holocaust. Put yourself in a Jews point of view as you read the information... then in a Nazi's point of view. Also, apply everything to real life. Try to think about getting an A+ if you keep studying... motivate yourself.
Also, treat yourself. Break up everything into sections and study a section at a time. Every time you know a section, treat yourself to a small piece of candy or something you really want.
Another great way is to make questions for the whole chapter and memorize the answers. It's easier that way.
Also, review and study everything you get EVERY night, so that when you have a test, you only have to briefly review it and look at the things that are harder. It will lessen up your stress.
Good luck!

the position are you reading? Do you've a quiet and mushy position to study? each now and then your ecosystem has plenty to do with it. when you're in a noisy position and function human beings operating out and in, it isn't person-friendly to concentration. also make constructive you're ingesting 3 food an afternoon. Get some gas on your body and probably which could also help such as your power factor. reading is so not person-friendly. I had the same difficulty and it grow to be like i could not study. i grow to be hungry, sleepy, bored, and uncomfortable. i got here across out that reading in my mattress grow to be the more serious area of do. come across a great mushy position or room and bypass in there and study. Have some water and in case you get sleepy, upward push up and take a walk or bypass stretch a touch and grab some fruit. i'm hoping this helps you!

Get back into focus. Shut down the computer and put away the junkfood. Set goals for yourself and to what you want to accomplish. Try not to let your self wander a way. Study in small increments and take some breaks.

I don't think it is a pointless thing to ask questions here. It shows you have an interest in doing well in your studies.
Just to help you concentrate on your work, prepare a schedule with measurable objectives. Take a break in between to regain your senses. For example:
Objective 1: I will complete XX amount of work in 20 minutes. Objective 2: I will complete XXX amount of work in another 20 minutes.
Break for 15 minutes.
Objective 3: I will complete XXXXX amount of work in another 20 minutes.
and so on!
Hope this helps.

This may seem wierd, but take a drive through an area where mainly homeless people live or serve food at a soup kitchen. I'm not saying all homeless people have no education, but it certainly makes you aware of where you could be. An education takes you further away from being homeless yourself and realize how fortunate you are.

Think about not being able to get a job but going about as a bag lady rummaging through other people's trash finding tampoons and used condoms.

Reality check. How much do you want to become successful? Be able to buy what you want, wear what you want? You don't want to study? Kiss all those positives bye-bye, because then you won't be able to get a decent job with decent pay.
