It probably would hurt the most at 16 because the bones have not finished growing. Her skeleton is still child-ish, not child-bearing.

No. Age doesn't matter when it comes to labor. Being older may help the mother be able to cope with the pain better than a 16 year old child but labor is labor and anyone who says it isn't painful is either 1. lieing , 2. insain or 3. a man

Age does not matter as long as they are near full size adolescents.16 year olds are generally adult size or close to it, and for thousands of years it was common for females in their teens to be already married and mothers. There is no reason to think they would have less pain or more pain. It depends on the woman.

The younger you are the easiest it is to snap back from pregnancy, the skin is elastic and in good shape. Take it from this OB nurse - the biggest whiners BY FAR are the 40 yr old women having their first child.

my mom had my older sister when she was 16. She claims it wasn't that bad and wasn't a very big deal. I'm 20 and have a 6 month old daughter. I was induced and it was HELL for me! and i even have a VERY high tolerance for pain! don't know if age matters or not, it might just depend on the person.

Age doesn't matter. If you are very petite, then having a baby may hurt more (large object, small space.) I think your own pain tolerance plays a huge role in how bad your pain will be. Thank God for epidurals.

It all depends on the person's tolerance for pain. But I would say that the youngest person would be in more pain since they have not been exposed to different levels of pain.
