They are a danger for society and they are a bad model to follow for kids and young people.

Gangs mean big trouble for idle, discontented minds. Even those with purposed unity present high risk factors. From a legal perspective, standing your ground as a Gang can lead to many charges against the whole gang ~ no matter who did what. I say be an individual, and appreciate friends only to the point of just how well adapted they are to life in general. Don't expect the best of friends, as in a gang of friends, to be someone they aren't

Most people referred to the issue of Gangs as if they only exist in US.But unfortunately that is not true.I am an international student in New Zealand and there are quite a few of dangerous gangs even in a 4 million populated country.Even just by watching 50cent,Snoop Dogg and also other hip hop singers with criminal backgrounds and their video clips many people get attracted to that kind of life style and the idea of being a gangsta.I believe that is a tremendous problem for the whole world because it is spreading all around the world as a disease along with the encouragement for drug use and other bad habits.I am also a hip hop listener but i dont do drugs at all and I am NOT a gangsta.Ya kna wat I'm sayin... ;)

Join a Team working for goals, like making neighborhoods safer instead of a Gang of thugs out looking for a fight.
You'll live longer and enjoy life a whole lot more.

it matters. In really rough areas, theyre pretty much a necissary evil. In suburban areas, theyre just a nuisance/annoying.
the difference is that in the true hood, gangs and real gangsters are essentially running a business (albeit illegal), and for you or me, have no problems with us. the last thing they want to do is stir up trouble with someone that has no business with them (innocent bystandards). Suburban gangs are essentially wannabe real gangs, and they are a bunch of kids trying to act hard (like real gangs), and just end up attacking and annoying innocent bystandards, as theyre not a real business.

I grew up around them. I'm not going to disclose my personal experience. All I know, is all these wankstas need to stop trying to act gangsta, it's no joke it's a shitty life as you might know. It's not about colors, it's whats in your blood. There is more to life than gang banging. They're usually racially profiled especially in the jails and prisons. California is full of them.

all violent gangs are stupid!! unnessary, all cowards when their by themselfs that's why they gang up! LOSERS!! they make life hell for normal citizens, people should have the right to go to any neighbourhood they want to without risking their lives. They need to kill all of each other so the rest of us normal good citizens can live our peace!!!!
