In kindergarten we had this assembly where we got up in front of the school and out parents and said what we wanted to do when we grew up, I said I wanted to do what my mom did, she managed a gas station at the time... THANK GOD I didn't do that, and yes, it was a silly thought.

When I was a child, there was an old man in the neighborhood that would tell the children running around what they were going to be when they grew up. Finally, it was my turn. He told me I was going to be a singer when I grew up. I was 5 years old at the time. And guess what? I can't sing a note. Not one. Can't carry a tune in a bucket, or the shower. I tried singing lullabyes to my children as they grew up and they would cringe and beg me to stop singing. How sad is that? A child shouldn't care what mommy's voice sounds like, right? LOL In my case, it was a silly thought. But I did learn something about myself. I don't care what other people think...I do whatever makes ME feel good. I would sing to my kids anyway. You won't see me auditioning for American Idol anytime soon, but I am a great mom that loves to laugh and SING with her children.

I wanted to be a scientist like Einstein. I also wanted to make movies, which I used to do, but stopped for a long time. Sony is coming out with a relatively cheap high-definition camcorder soon, so I hope to be getting back into it. As a kid I wanted to study outer space (astrophysics), but now my hobby is studying inner space - molecular biology. I am a blues-rock guitarist, but a friend described me as a "biochemist that rocks". I'm don't have a degree, but I keep chipping away at the stone by reading scientific reports off of the net. I'm supposed to invent something medical according to my ex-wife, and IT is supposed to make me famous. I just hope that it is something good and not something awful!!!

I wanted to be a school teacher because I loved all of my elementary teachers. But when I got to middle school the teachers were strict. But high school was the worse the teachers seemed as if they didn't care if the students passed or failed because the kids never listened to them. Now I'm going into pharmaceuticals to be a Pharmacy Technician. So I wont have to deal with undisciplined children. We should show more appreciation for our school teachers, it's a hard job.

I wanted to be a musician since I was like 5 or 6, when my babysitters husband had a guitar. I couldn't stop staring at it, but I was too little for them to let me play it.
Now I play, record, mix, and produce my own music. I've been in several bands and always try to promote the newest stuff.
On that note, go to garageband.com and search for 4xWise,
go to stand still and hit the play button.

When I was a kid, I loved to rollerskate so naturally I wanted to be a roller disco queen or in the roller derby, racing around the rink. And no, I did not realize that dream, THANK GOD, lol. The other thing I really, really wanted to be was a mother and I am very proud to have become one, three times over.

Good question. As a child growing up I never gave that any serious thought. I was to busy just being a child growing up. Hope that made sense.

As a kid I wanted to be a veterinarian. Then I found out how much Chemistry I would have to take, and I totally suck at Chemistry. So that dream never panned out. Now I'd really like to make a living with my stained glass work.

Does dreaming of one day being a hemorrhoids tester in an Indian medical labratory count as a "silly thought"?

I wanted to be a fireman. I joined the navy and every sailor is a fireman.. But I wasn't technically a fireman..... And I don't think I want to work for the government, anymore. Maybe I'll be a scientist. Or an accountant.
