when doing arithmacy do you include the letter "y" as a vowel or not?
also do you include your middle name?

Rogue Wyndwalker- for the arithmancy book i have you first need to add up all the letters (the num. they corrospond to) and reduce(in a way i cant really explain well). then add up all the vowels-reduce, then add up all the constanents(spelling sucks...)

ARITHMANCY
Arithmancy is a Chaldean and Greek method of divination by numbers.
The Chaldeans divided their alphabet into three sections of seven letters and linked these to the seven planets.
The Greeks would analyze the names of opponents and predict the outcome of a contest.
Arithmancy is a precursor to numerology.
In numerology you always include your FULL birth name, and it shouldn't matter whether or not you include 'y' as a vowel since it is assigned a number value by where it falls on a numerology chart, not what 'type' of letter it is.

(Here, 'y' has value of '7')

I just want to add that, personally, I think it makes more sense to base your numerolody off of your birthday (like 11-25-1962 would be 1+1+2+5+1+9+6+2) because your date of birth relates more closely to the astrological components of your birth since you name was chosen by your parents -- not by a Higher Power, LOL. Karl, definitely a 70s influence. They seem like a cool band. I just picked up their album. Anyway, good song. Not their best, but a good one. 1. Yes 2. Sort of, although they remind me a lot of My Morning Jacket, who's a current act. 3. Well, you got the album name already, but I'd say Alt/Folk Rock? I don't know, classifying bands never works out for me.
