basically philosophy is science. You use reason and logic to prove things or to present their possibility. Anything beyond disproof could be something else entirely. You basically just shape your own perception of reality through reason and discourse coupled with additional knowledge you gain. (some could actually be wrong and just currently considered right; for example i am fairly certain the current Big Bang THEORY (Theory, one of several workable theories out there for the universe. this one is held in favor by explaining key concepts, even though some other theories do the same) was disproved scientifically with a new discovery that is so ground breaking (for the people who have used this model as the "true" model and made leaps in accordance to this most likely flawed model. Now the people that buy into it have incorrect view of the world and their shaped philosophy is ultimately riddled with resonating flaws. However we all probably contain such fallac shortcoming based upon wrong or not completely correct information thought to be true at the time. So its flawed from the get go. How much can you prove to yourself, if left to it how much could you figure out on your own with only one life time of knowledge? Not much in comparison to cities or even a furnishes middle class home. Even the great greek philosophers continued off of principles they thought on and determined to be true, that is the progression of philosophy. no one would get anywhere if we all started over. Your Philosophy is constantly growing and even if you adopt a explained one; religion, there is still the aspect of YOUR own unique perception. unless your the guy who takes old words out of a book translated over several time as the one true words of a 5th dimensional creator your parents/adopted group told you exists your view of the world is subject to change, This change; at any rate, is your true thoughts and conceptualization of the world around you: Your Formed Philosophy.
