I maen when growing up you have certain movies every child is afraid of. Like the boogie man, Bloody marie, ect. What is so scary about a doll with a knife?

shhhhhhhhhhhhhh dont mention his name chucky(childs play) was banned in the UK because of what two children did to a baby after alegedly watching that movie

we have no need for horror films like this there is enough murder and death in reality without making movies about it

Personally, I have never found him and thought the first movie was lame, but enjoyed the more recent ones.
The first movie was scary for some people as a toy is something that comforts them and entertain peoples, not kills them and to have a toy that would kill shook their world.
The more recent Chuckie movies are not scary at all, just more of a parody of the original verision and very funny.

Chucky i found him funny my fav one is where the girlfriend comes into it and turns herself in to a rock chic doll - fantastic
went to see Seed of chucky with fella and god wot a let down a lame pathetic gay son ...come on writers what where u thinking off, i wanted a darker angrier verison of chucky lol fella moan all night at me for going to see it he complete forgot he suggested it lol

You should just watch them all, first is probably scariest. But, I love Bride of Chucky the most although many people might not agree with me...

When you were 5 - 10 years old.. I'm sure you had dolls. Lots of dolls that you'd always play with, and you loved to death and always brought with you. Now imagine if suddenly these dolls that you loved so much came to life and wanted to kill you with a knife and other miscellaneous objects?

It wasn't about the doll with a knife; it's what that doll with the knife did, which was kill people, even kids (or at least tried to). I saw the first Child's Play when I was six and it scared me so much, I never watched another horror movie, for years.

I never watched them as a child - my mum kept my viewing within my age limit - and I have since watched them now and find them a waste of time !!
They will be scary to those that shouldn't be watching them.......
