Has anyone seen the Stones in concert lately? They are coming here to an outdoor venue and was debating on the $100 plus ticket price being worth it. Not a Huge fan but have enjoyed them for years.

The Stones have one of the best shows in Rock - n - Roll. I have seen them several times over the years. If you have never seen them live. It would be worth the price.

Personally, I saw the Stones once back in the late '70's , paid $15.00 for my ticket and that was high back then. Considering I also saw ZZ TOP the next week for $ 5.00. Man I miss the old days.... Saw Led Zeppelin once for $10.50, still have the stub and the next tour saw the death of John Bonham and they never toured again. Some people have already pointed out this may be the Stones last tour. But then again, who knows...

We have the Eagles to thank for the generation of $100 tickets. When they came out of retirement and asked and arm and leg for a ticket 10 years ago. Who would have thought that would be the norm today? Before that the average ticket price for a concert was around $25-$30, high-end prices were reserved for the legends. But now everyones a legend eh?

They're coming here to an outdoor venue as well, and I'm gonna get as close as I can! They may be a bit past their prime, but they're the Stones! They're a legend, and although I wasn't alive during their heyday (born in 81) I won't pass this up!

If you've seen them once, I'd say that's enough for me. I saw them in '88 during the "Steel Wheels" tour. Killer show for my first time seeing them perform. Not a huge fan of Mick and the boys, either. I wouldn't jump at a chance to see them again....unless the tickets were free.

I have been debating about seeing them myself, and here are the two factors I'm dealing with. They are losing their health and this could be their last world tour, on the other hand they have canceled so many shows that it may be best to just get a dvd of their concert.

no, but they canceled a concert in Italy this week because Mick strained his vocal cords.

I would definately buy the tickets, sadly in a couple of years they will all be dead......... and this might be your only chance. Don't pass that **** up!

That is sad they charge that much when they have made millions over the years! I don't understand why they don't just retire!!
