If you are just looking for the software to update, go directly to the website under drivers...if you don't want to go to the Dell Forums its people like us who need help and no damn well Dell is not going to help us.....they tend to be more knowledgeable.

Go to the below link and type in the service tag number to view all drivers for your system. You can find the tag either on the back of the PC or bottom of the laptop. Another thing you might want to consider if you have already done this is the sound card might be dead. From this same sight you can find contact info on how to replace it if that's the case

I always use DriverGuide, it takes a little searching but with the best results, you will have to sign up for a account, but it is free. Good Luck
