may be bcos its some branded underwear and he is just trying to show it off............or mayb when he was about to try out his first mission he became late, and in the hurry wore his underwear outside.....then it became a new trend for the superman fashion...

He's too busy to try to fit it into his tights everytime he goes out a*s-whooping, so he just pulls it on over. It just looks gross if you have lumps of rolled up fabric around your crotch under your tights because you don't have an extra three hours to pull it down properly.
