I am looking for good books to read. Have found the best way to get onto great books is by reccomendation rather than research or catalogue searching (have done this too). Thanks!

I enjoyed the Marketplace. Not all lesbian per say but it is certainly in there. It is a series, sometimes your local adult stores will stock it.

These books are not really meant to be lesbian- but they do have some hot lesbian scenes. Have you tried Carrie's Story or Safe Word by Molly Weatherfield?
I think Carrie is an awesome character because she would probably consider herself a feminist and then she becomes involved heavily into BDSM. The books have a lot of great internal conversations and Carrie has some great sarcastic witty things to say. She shows how a strong intelligent woman can be in the scene...she finds herself, loses herself and then finds herself again. Make sure you read both books though.
