I live in Florida and i jsut think that there are masses of gay couples here, well atleast i know alot and i live in a lil po' dunk town, so i think maybe we should be another state that allows gay marriages, because i know i would love to marry my girlfriend in the same state i met her in.......it would be sentimental i think.....

Well, if by "gay", you mean happy and cheerful, I'm all for it. If, however, you mean a lesbian couple, I do not think they should be allowed to marry anywhere.

I think that gays should be allowed to marry in any state. I mean whats the problem so what if they are gay ...at least they are happy ...and if they want to marry then that should be their decision ...not put to a vote for the population of the United States. I have a couple of gay freinds and they have feelings too

I do not think that gay people should be allowed to marry at all. I know that sounds bad but I live by the bible and it is wrong. My mother is gay and I love her very much. I will not stop talking to her or anything like that but she knows that I do not approve. I just choose not to talk about it. When I meet her partners, I treat them according to the way they act. For the most part, I have liked her partners and we were friendly toward each other. Like I said, I do not approve but Jesus basically said, do not judge lest ye be judged. And just because I am heterosexual does not make me perfect or above judgement.

I'm heterosexual & my answer to this question is Y-E-S & I don't care what anyone else says.
To most religions, homosexuality is considered sin; but a newborn baby is also considered a sin until it is baptized.
I think they should be able to get married because true love comes in all sexes, races, and religions; what does it matter to anyone else what someones preference is?
I think Homophobia is stupid and Homosexuals have every right to enjoy the same things as Heterosexuals.
Too bad the states don't think that!

I don't think that gay people should have the right to marry or to have children. It is so wrong. They made a choice to live in an unhealthy and dirty lifestyle. They should pay the price. I also don't think they should be allowed to show affection to each other in public. I don't want my kids to see that. Gross!

I live in florida and I believe that gay people should be aloud to marry wherever they are! It'll never happen in florida though, we're the state that carried W into the white house. God will never forgive us for that.

I think you're sickning. You can't come up with anything better than that to marry your dyke lover other than you want to marry her in the same state you met her. No tax break or employee benefit packages? Are you really gay or are you experimenting. Either way you nasty.
