the one i have keeps sticking. i tried cleaning it but it only helped a little.

Microsoft IntelliMouse, it does not use a pad, it has no ball. Good Luck

Buy a cheap optical mouse and chitcan the pad, you wont need one

buy an optical mouse then one with a laser not a trackball and just a normal soft pad will be perfect (Note: Optical mice don't have to be expensive, okay ones are not more expensive then 20 bucks and they last okay.)

get an custom made one pad and an wireless mouse for your computer much easier, I have that can be purchase at radioshack
