Nobody, and I mean nobody, is a foot taller than me, because that would be 7 feet and I don't think that any 8th graders are 7 feet tall.
Besides that, I like shorter girls because ones taller than me are REALLY tall, and it intimidates me.
I just blame it on the nature of the male to have to feel like he's the MAN in the relationship.... I dunno.

I think both guys and girls like the guy to be the taller one.
also, if he's a foot taller I can wear heels and still be shorter.

Considering the fact that I'm 5'1" about half of all men are taller than me, so I'd prefer taller. However, if I met a good guy who was shorter than me, then it just wouldn't matter.

I think I could handle a foot taller... I dated a basketball player in high school and it wasn't too bad. But, I don't think I could handle dating a guy who was a foot shorter than me. Call me shallow, but it would just be too weird for me.

A foot taller since a foot shorter would make them 4'2" and now that would look just silly.

I'm 6'5, so I'm going to have to say a foot shorter. A foot taller would be freaky.

a foot taller, I like to feel protected in the arms of the person I'm with... my husband is only 3 inches taller than me... I like to wear heels and it doesn't help me ... don't like to look the same height or taller than him

A foot taller, my hubby's almost a foot taller than me, but for some reason we match hip to hip.
