its in the recycled bin...click the important file you want, then click restore...
if its not in the recycled bin, then you have a difficulties to recover them.
try to use, restore point, by clicking start > program > accessories > system tools > system restore
and select your most recent restore points...
but i am afraid that all new program and new files you install after that restore point will not be deleted by your system...

As Deedar has said, there are recovery tools that can be downloaded, but you would be advised to download and install onto a different disk. This is because anything written to your computer could potentially overwrite what you want to recover (as the file system believes this to be unused space).

unless you didnt empty your recycle bi it is always there. open the Recycle Bin then look if your data is there then right click on ihe data then press restore.. thats it... go back to where you've the data and you'l surely find it.

try doing a restore to an earlier date you go to the start menu then all programmes then to accessories then to system tool and then restore hope this helps
