This had never occured to me before I read this post "How many white woman marry native Americans for their benefits?"

Is this seriously an issue because where I live in CA it certainly isn't..........though were to actually meet some vary attractive ones I have always assumed it would be for love.......not for the sake of living on a reservation. So I am curious as to where in the US this is considered an issue and Who it is that has encountered it?

Well folks I had never heard of such a thing either thats why I asked. Look it up on here I was surprised that there were some.

In the states being Native and registered will get you health care a college education but thats about it. If a tribe has done its work and built a casino it can get you a heck of a lot more. It doesn't float down to spouses though, children yes. I have customers that are tribal members of successful casino owning tribes, not to mention all sorts of investments...ie, car dealerships, they get regular large checks and do a lot of charity work as there is no reason for them to work. They do pay taxes...common misconception amongst the public. They just get them on a 1099 and have nothing to offset them.

No one has really answered the question. I am waiting for someone in the states who has encountered it.....perhaps the gentleman who posted the original question.

Somehow I doubt that the benefits are "all that" so as to be worth simply a marriage of convenience. I can't believe that the quality of life on the reservations is something one would want to marry into. That is not a denigration to natives in anyway, but let's face it, I don't think they're THAT well taken care of by the government.

Ive seen it.Some natives in Canada in the Alberta province get money from Oil sales there I have seen women go out with them and as soon as they run out of money dump them.
All natives get money each money for being native and even money just for going to school. No taxes, and benefits and grants up the ying yang.
Meant time I see lots at the white mans food bank asking for handouts after they spent all there money on booze...they usally don't worry about a roof over their heads due to the fact the government builds them a house. And they dont have any taxes .

i think of its the subconscious prefer with the aid of all women persons to be with adult males who're "mainstream". in the western international this means that oriental women persons won't discover any difficulty to marry whites. Contrarily white women persons will think of two times before marrying an oriental guy in the western way of life. i assume the choice would be genuine in oriental way of life - extra white women persons would marry oriental adult males yet much less oriental women persons would marry white adult males.

I am guessing you have never been on a reservation. They are not living wealthy you know, amongst other social problems that they must deal with.
