I get so sick and tired of staying up late watching the astros go into overtime and we always come up on the short end! So frustrating cuz I could be snoozing right now!!!

Well this year they have let Brad Lidge blow far too many games before trying someone else out at closer, and their lineup just really doesn't scare anyone, if Berkman's not hitting then you don't really have any power, and alot of your top players are approaching 40 yrs old if not already there (Clemens). The Astros best shot was last year, but hey, at least you can say you were the 2005 NL Champions, that's not too shabby.

brad lidge. one answer...brad lidge....what used to be 157 K's and 1.80 ERA has become 77 K's and a 5.70 ERA...not to mention three losses and five blown saves...including tonight...

the astros have also been shut out 10 times this season, leaving me to also think that run support is a problem...pettite pitched an excellent game today (8/16), but had nothing to show for it because of the lack of offense.......it's a little bit of everything

First of all there is no such thing as "overtime" in baseball.

Baseball is NOT on a time clock.

It's called extra innings.

and the reason why is because of phil garnder.

I was so happy when The Tigers fired him!

They don't blow it every time. I think they're doing pretty good right now.
