a sixth grader shouldnt go into make up that fast, i suggest you wait until youre an 8th grader at least. but if you really want to, dont use foundation and blush. You should just curl your lashes, use CLEAR mascara and dab on some gloss. thats a start to wearing more make up in the future like adding eyeliner and upgrading to black mascara.

Darling, if you are truly interested in wearing makeup, keep it neutral. Eyeshadow and coverup if necessary but I don't reccommend eyeliner, mascara, or lipstick. Also practice before going out into public! Another thing that would help is going to the makeup counter at a department store and tell them that you want to begin wearing makeup and ask them what color you should start out with. You don't have to buy it there, because it can be really expensive. However, at least you will get an idea...
Good luck and have fun!

Ugh! No!! My mom allowed me to wear eye shadow when I was in 8th grade...What a mistake! I over did it all the time and looked like Boy George half the time! I would definitely practice wearing it at home..Play around with your friends-but not in public. You are so lucky that you posess the natural beauty of a young girl! That's why older women wear make-up...to look YOUNGER! If I were you, I might try just wearing a litle mascara and blush..nothing else. Besides, at your age make-up can also cause a lot of zits. Leave your skin alone, and be proud of how awesome you look without having to wear anything---THAT'S BEAUTY! esides, it may save your loks later on and you'll be a timeless classic! Also...wear sunscreen!

First of all, what do your parents say? They really make the rules. I wore makeup when I was in the 6th grade. I wore a bit of pressed powder, sheer blush, some light eyeshadow, and a bit of eyeliner and mascara. I also was allowed to wear a bit of sheerly tinted lipgloss. The key is to use sheer makeup. Less is more with makeup, especially at your age. I am sure you are beautiful without makeup, but ask your parents and see what they say. You may also want to ask any other women that are close to you what they think (aunts, grandmothers, past babysitters, etc.)

It doesn't matter. You've gone through some changes already, and so are the males. They'll look at you just as much whether you are wearing make-up or not. When I was in 6th grade, most girls that wore make-up didn't look as good as when they didn't wear it. However, they were the ones who had mostly clear faces. I think it's ok if you just wear enough to cover blemishes or something like that.

My goodness! Why are young ladies always in such a hurry to grow up? I don't think that you need makeup, I bet you are naturally beautiful, which looks much better that makeup that is not put on properly, which if you don't know how to put it on then I promise you that you will look like a clown or worse, like not having correct lighting will make you look different when you go outside in natural light. Besides, aren't you into sports or anything fun? Most girls want to wear face paint because they think they will look better to others, How about you? Don't you like the way God created you?

Hon, Im gonna be a freshman (9th) this year and I didnt start wearing make-up until I was in 8th grade. If you're only in 6th, I would suggest you only wear lipgloss. Natural beauty is always best, remember that. Alot of guys prefer girls that are natural rather than ones that look lyk clowns. Trust me!! Have fun, 6th grade was the best year of my life!!

Chances are you don't need any make-up at your age. If you have pimples your insecure about then you could always use something to cover them up but other then that you should be fine! In sixth grade all I wore was some lipgloss.

last year i was in sixth grade
remember make-up is supposed to enhance your features not cover them up
so here are some tips to consider
1.look at other girls u definitely do not want to be the first one to start wearing make-up
2.try mascara in light strokes so its not so noticable or eyeliner
3.lipgloss {{light browns or pinks}}
4.the most important thing is to keep it as natural as possible
u are still young
5.foundation((only if ureally want to even though i dont recomend it until around 8th grade))
6.gradually add on not everything all of a sudden
