You can't unless they want the help. It's up to the person to get the help they need. Being with an alcoholic will just ruin your life as well. You will be sooo miserable. No happy life there. If I were you tell the person you want them to get help and if they refuse and won't admitted it. Than you tell them good bye! You will be much better off. Why should yo be miserable if they are. It's not your problem. Good luck!
