Why are we affraid of death?

What makes us terrified of dying? When death is naturally part of life and should not be afraid of it. Then, what makes us truly afraid? Please help me understand.

I had chest pains one night and swore I was going to die. Turns out it was acid reflux and got treated but I sure was scared. I was scared for my wife and kids and what they would have to do without me. I was scared because this is it, final. You want to hang on to life because, really, you don't know what's on the other side, even if there is another side. You can talk about not being scared but until you think it might actually happen, you'll get scared, trust me.

No. i'm beneficial that there will be no hell. i don't have an absolut beleif in god, and a forgiving god would comprehend that. If god exists than he will decide me based off of my movements, no longer notwithstanding if i worship him blindly. i'm a sturdy individual, and that i do no longer would desire to be terrified of an afterlife to be that. If there is no longer something after dying, then Oh properly. If there is, then i'd desire my devotion to different persons would be taken under consideration. in case you meant the act of dying itself, then specific and no. i does not strategies dying if it became into for something stable, like saving yet another's life, combating something detrimental, or previous age. I haved stay a sturdy life, and been a sturdy individual. If i became into going to die slowly and painfully, then i does not enable it kill me. i decide to die in certainly one of two procedures. satisfied, or combating the lack of happiness for others.

Okay it's like this. U never know what to expect with death. You dont know when its coming, how its going to happen, and where its goin to happen. It just because we can expect other things in life but this is something no one can escape unlike other things.
