because it takes away the image of perfect complexion. Embarassing. people tease. It's painful, for some it's more like a cyst and really painful causes mental issues for some... just a few of the reasons. I think the occasional pimple most people try to leave alone. And because its there:-)

people pop their pimples to get the "puss" out of them to hopefully get rid of them.....puss can cause pimples and is often the nucleus of them so by getting rid of that the pimple should eventually go away on it's own...this is in particular to whiteheads
sometimes it may spread the pimples but popping them works most of the time...hurts but it can be worth it

They want them gone!
They really feel like their skin will just clear up the next day....it doesn't!
Plus - when you are a kid - it is kinda neat to see the pus come out. Like John Belushi in Animal House when he filled his face with mashed potatoes and popped his cheeks asking "What Am I"? The answer was "a zit".

For me, I can't stand to see something that doesn't belong there. It makes me feel flawed, and I just want the imperfect part of me out of my sight.

They assume it will be less noticeable and will go away faster including less irritation if their not filled up ready to blow.
