Of course I can search the Internet. It's what I've been doing for the last hour and I can't find it. I was waiting to see if I would hear from someone who actually KNEW the answer, thank you very much.

Ah, now we're getting somewhere. 2% of the population, so I guess we can assume that is roughly 4% of the male population...what percent of 18 to 35 year olds? I'm trying to figure out the impact on that particular generation.

It's difficult to say because they would have served in The British Army, Royal Navy or Royal Flying Corp along with the Scots , Welsh and Irish and I think all the casualties were listed as British rather than from individual nations.
