Lavar Arrington LB New York Giants. The man doesn't even play most of the time and is already praised as the key block of the New York Giants defense. He was gone for most of the time in Washington and he will be gone for most of the time in New York. ESPN analysts love the guy though.

ok first of all i would just like to say that randy moss and terrell owens are definately not over rated. randy moss averages almost 1300 yards each year - he had a better first 6 years than the great Jerry Rice himself and could end up being the best reciever of all time if the raiders could get a good quarterback. terrell owens is one of the best recievers of his era, with over 100 touchdowns. i think that ben roethlisberger is very overrated, i could get 2500 yards and 17 tds with the talent the steelers have. he has yet to play a full season and the only real great play he made in the playoffs was the tackle he made against indianapolis, and they had to have antwaan randle el throw a touchdown in the super bowl. i dont dislike big ben, i think he can be great, i just dont like how people are saying hes great now.
But no one will be more overrated than MICHAEL VICK - NOT A GOOD QUARTERBACK - the dude is fast and has a cannon but is awful at quarterback. people got way too hyped about him

First, maybe Sapp used to be overrated. He is not anymore. Everyone knows he is past his prime. If you do not know what you are talking about you should not respond.
Second, anyone with the playoff record that Brady has is not overrated. Now if he goes the next 3-5 years and does not go back to the SuperBowl, and people are still talking good about him then he could be considered overrated.
Third, T.No is a batch, but he is proably the most talented reciever in th NFL. I hate him. I lump in in with Kobe Bryant and Barry Bonds and the three athletes I hate the most. He is very good though, when he plays.
The most overrated player in the NFL is easy. It is Michael Vick. Think about it!

Tom Brady. No doubt.
QBs who win the SuperBowl get too much publicity, and too much credit, which is exactly what has happened to Tom Brady. The guy sits on the bench, keeping his body 100% healthy, and just as the team improves to the critical point, Bledsoe gets hurt, Brady comes in, and the rest is history. The guy is a middle of the pack QB (a sixth round draft choice) who has been ultra lucky to play under a great coaching staff, and be surrounded by great players. The Pats have done little since Charlie Weis (their former offensive coordinator) left the team to coach college football. He was the real genius behind the Pats SB wins, not Brady.

Roethilisberger. He is a solid quarterback and more or less the face of the super-bowl winning team, but that doesn't make him great. All the media attention has fans praising him and calling him one of the greats. First off, playing quarterback for the steelers is much easier than most teams. They have a superb defense and are committed to running the football. They don't ask big ben to make plays all the time like the giants ask of eli manning. Ben takes care of the ball, and is asked to not throw interceptions, while most quarterbacks are asked to throw touchdowns. Ben is certainly a solid quarterback but nothing more at this point in his career.

first the people who peeps said were overrated but arent-
Shaq-theyre are plenty of people with his size but cant dunk like him-he has a ton of talent but he is worse than he was-look at his footwork
TBrady-not overrated ur reasons are retarded-sitting on the bench why does that make him bad?not his choice.6th rounder-you know that the other 31 GMs are knocking theyre heads against the wall because they didnt draft him earlier-oh and after weis left he was 1st or 2nd in the league in passing yards
sapp-used to be great but hes old now
i could say vick but he was great before id say ahman green he cant stay healthy and he had like 2 good years
